The Health Equity and Overdose Prevention 2022 Virtual Symposium

NACCHO is pleased to present the Health Equity and Overdose Prevention Mentorship Program participants, partners, and industry leaders to share their contributions on how they have been integrating health equity into their overdose prevention work. Given the national sense of urgency in addressing those most impacted by the opioid and overdose epidemic, and the priority of tackling the most pressing public health issues using a health equity lens, NACCHO is honored to provide a space for public health thought leaders to convene and exchange best practices and strategies for embedding health equity into overdose prevention efforts and initiatives.
This program and virtual symposium was developed with funding from the Centers for Disease Control.

In addition, NACCHO would like to acknowledge and thank our mentors and mentees for their health equity efforts, each of our speakers for their workshop contributions as well as our partners at the Center for Health Leadership, Faces & Voices of Recovery, the Legal Action Center, and the San Francisco Health Department for their input and collaboration on this event.
