Bio

Greetings and Salutations.

My name is Crystal Bulman, and I am the Upstate's Medical Countermeasures Coordinator for South Carolina's Department of Health and Environmental Control. Under the leadership of the Regional Public Health Preparedness Coordinator and the State Medical Countermeasures Coordinator, I maintain the CHEMPACK program, Potassium Iodine program, and the Point of Dispensing program (Open and Closed) for all 11 counties in the Upstate Region. I also seek to continuously improve emergency documentation such as the POD Job Action Sheets and training tools such as the CHEMPACK Seminar PowerPoint.

In addition to my MCM role, I am also a Technical Sergeant assigned to the 165th Airlift Wing Inspector General's office, Garden City, GA where I assist the primary Inspections Coordinator with the review and submission of multiple inspection reports. In 2022, I successfully designed and conducted an inspection of the base Command Post.

I am from Pauline, South Carolina. I moved to Tigerville, SC in 2003 to attend North Greenville University, fell in love with the mountains of northern Greenville County, and now live in the beautiful community of Travelers Rest, only minutes from my alma mater. I am very active in my church and led congregational singing for many years. I am an avid reader but also enjoy eating with family and friends, easy hiking, attending local festivals, and traveling. If you are ever in the area, I would be happy to tell you about some of the best places to visit and eat.
