Bio

Kimberly Nalley, presently serving as a Senior Program Analyst at NACCHO, has been a member of the Infectious Disease team since 2020. Engaged in various projects, she contributes to NACCHO’s initiatives such as Project Firstline and the organization’s general infectious disease work which enables swift responses to emerging threats like new outbreaks of mpox, avian influenza, and antimicrobial resistant pathogens. Kimberly leads the Infectious Disease Prevention and Control (IDPC) Workgroup and spearheads the Infection Prevention and Control Learning Collaborative Project.

Her academic background includes a Master of Public Health in health policy from the Milken Institute School of Public Health at George Washington University in Washington, DC, and a bachelor’s degree in molecular and cellular biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Before her tenure in DC for graduate studies, Kimberly conducted research on autoimmune diabetes at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.
