Held on Tuesday, July 14 before the start of NACCHO360, the NACCHO360 Tribal Preconference is designed by and for Tribal Nations as a space to center tribal sovereignty, elevate tribal public health leadership, and strengthen tribal–local health department relationships in ways that are practical, respectful, and actionable. This is not a symbolic convening—it is a working forum focused on advancing tribal public health priorities and ensuring tribal voices shape national public health practice.
For Tribal Nations, attending national conferences requires significant time and resources. This preconference is designed to deliver clear, tangible value for that investment. The focus is on leaving with relationships, clarity, and momentum—not just information.
