Infection prevention and control (IPC) practices are critical to preventing the spread of antimicrobial resistant infections in healthcare and long-term care facilities. This presentation highlighted how local health departments (LHDs) should leverage their partnerships with local care facilities to reinforce IPC practice recommendations as a tool to address AMR prevention in the community.
