August 2023: LHD and Acute Care Hospital Partnerships with AHA

Local health department (LHD) staff engage with local acute care facilities to promote infection prevention and control (IPC) best practices in their facilities. In this LLN call, NACCHO highlighted a successful partnership between an LHD and acute care facility to demonstrate how to build and maintain these critical relationships. The call also featured a speaker from the American Hospital Association (AHA) as they spoke about their work with Project Firstline and partnership with NACCHO.
