Workflow for Lactation Services

The Northeast Valley Health Corporation, a former NACCHO grantee, developed an organizational workflow. This workflow includes lactation-specific risk factors and clinical settings. This workflow is comprehensive in that it outlines the family's journey through the health system, addresses when the patient is seen, who sees the patient, who schedules the patient, and provides consistent messaging throughout the lactating person's journey, ensuring transfer of care accountability.
