Dr. Vicki Collie-Akers shares Lawrence-Douglas County Public Health’s experience triangulating data across the three assessments. LDCPH identified 14 topics as potential issues of focus for the community health improvement plan. They describe how they developed issue statements and infographics to share the data with the community.
In this video, Dr. Collie-Akers also describes LDCPH’s work so far in Phase 3 of MAPP 2.0 including setting priorities for the CHIP and using the Power Analysis to develop workgroups.
Dr. Collie-Akers is an Associate Professor and Kansas Health Foundation Professor of Public Health Practice, and Director of Policy and Planning at Lawrence-Douglas County Public Health.
