Dr. Vicki Collie-Akers shares Lawrence-Douglas County Public Health’s experience with the Community Status Assessment including their approach, adaptations, and results. They described notable themes across their 10 domains that covered social determinants of health and health outcomes. LDCPH used a narrative approach when describing outcomes and used infographics to describe data from multiple parts of the CSA.
Dr. Collie-Akers is an Associate Professor and Kansas Health Foundation Professor of Public Health Practice, and Director of Policy and Planning at Lawrence-Douglas County Public Health.
