The PHIG Data Modernization Implementation Center (IC) Program is launching Wave 2 implementation projects focused on building and testing scalable approaches to improve public health data exchange through modern standards, trusted data-sharing partnerships, and innovative technologies. Wave 2 will support up to 18 one-year pilot projects in four priority areas: Chronic Disease, Maternal and Child Health, Cancer Reporting, and Biothreat Radar Detection. Funding and technical assistance will be available to participating public health agencies and data exchange partners.
Organizations interested in learning more or participating in this opportunity are encouraged to review the attached Wave 2 overview slides for additional details on the pilot opportunities, participation requirements, and timeline. If you are interested in participating or have questions, please contact Janet Hui at jhui@astho.org or ASTHO at phdmic@astho.org. Expressions of interest are due by August 3.
