The Public Health Informatics Institute (PHII) has created an eight-week course on Designing and Managing Public Health Information Systems. This course, led by expert faculty, covers each step of the systems development life cycle (SDLC). Participants learn strategies for working with technical teams, how to communicate program informatics needs, and more! The course includes live webinars, on-demand content, and self-paced activities, and it is rooted in best practices in informatics and public health data modernization.
This course is designed for staff new to public health informatics at state, tribal, local, or territorial public health agencies who are working on an informatics or health IT project or will do so in the future. The course also serves as a great refresher for experienced public health informatics practitioners. For more information on this opportunity, visit PHII's page here. Interested individuals can pre-register for the course using this link.
Currently, enrollment in this course is free of charge to participants and their agencies.
