  • Register for Reducing Breastfeeding Disparities in the US Southeast Community of Practice!

We are excited to invite your local health department (LHD) to participate in NACCHO’s new Community of Practice (CoP), Reducing Breastfeeding Disparities in the US Southeast. This CoP will prioritize local health departments addressing breastfeeding disparities experienced by African American and non-Hispanic Black families. This CoP aims to strengthen public health breastfeeding support and early childhood nutrition practices by fostering collaboration, encouraging innovation, and elevating communities as leaders and solution developers across the Southeastern region of the United States. By participating in the CoP, LHDs will share best practices, community contexts, innovative solutions, and goals for improving breastfeeding support and nutrition security for young children.

If your LHD is interested in participating in the Reducing Breastfeeding Disparities in the US Southeast Community of Practice, please click here to complete this form.

NACCHO is hosting an upcoming information session to share more details about the Community of Practice on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at 2:00 pm ET. To register for the information session, click here. If you are unable to attend the information session and have questions related to the CoP, please feel free to contact our team at breastfeeding@naccho.org.
