Social Determinants of Health Score: Does It Help Identify Those at Higher Cardiovascular Risk?

The American Journal of Managed Care released a study that examined the impact of varying SDoH factors on the Framingham risk score and traditional cardiovascular disease risk factors. Results indicated that the addition of self-reported SDoH data has a dose-effect on cardiovascular disease risk factors and that future studies should examine the social factors that increase cardiovascular disease risk.
