November 2024: Healthcare System Resiliency

What does resilience mean? What does it mean in the context of healthcare systems? How is it measured? What should healthcare system resiliency goals consider? These are some of the questions that this presentation seeks to address, featuring Matt Stuckey, PhD, MPH from the Health Systems Strengthening, Resilience, and Training Branch within the Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). While this work remains in earlier phases of development, CDC has been coordinating with partners to bring clarity and understanding to this important topic.
