Cybersecurity Preparedness Considerations for Public Health and Healthcare Organizations Fact Sheet

NACCHO, in collaboration with the Department of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR), developed this fact sheet based on a cybersecurity needs assessment conducted at the 2018 Preparedness Summit. This fact sheet provides information on local health department cybersecurity preparedness roles, preparedness strategies, response considerations, and barriers for public health and healthcare cybersecurity preparedness. Local health departments and healthcare entities looking for strategies to advance or begin their cybersecurity preparedness efforts can use this fact sheet to learn about additional considerations and options for preparing for and responding to cyber-attacks.
