This LLN call featured a train-the-trainer session hosted by NACCHO. A guest speaker from CDC guided the audience through how to best utilize CDC's Project Firstline materials and educational best practices.
Infection prevention and control (IPC) pedagogy is critical in how practitioners deploy IPC practices in facility settings. Training those who relay this content can be daunting, but strategizing to meet the needs of the audience and learning the skills beforehand can give training leaders the strong start needed to leverage their time and resources. Robust resources developed by CDC’s Project Firstline provide staff with the tools to meet those needs. This session was tailored to local and state health departments including clinical and non-clinical staff, but partners of these audiences were also welcome to join.
