Hi all! I just sent out a calendar invite for our next meeting which will be Friday, October 25, at 1pm ET. Expect a spooky line-up from your favorite LHIT members, including:
- Quinyatta Mumford, Public Health Informatics Officer, New Mexico Public Health Division, on their new Informatics Community of Practice
- Noel Clarin, Public Health Informatics and IT Director, Fairfax County, on their Microsoft Dynamics/Power Platform
- Discussion: AI implementation and governance, particularly CoPilot Studio and Azure OpenAI
If you can't make it, I'll do my best to recap after the meeting, but don't be afraid to post your local health IT updates that you would normally share with the group to this thread.
On that note, @Charlie Bryan is looking for insights from anyone using Athena Health. He posted in our community last week. Feel free to respond to his post or this one to let him know if you're working in that platform.
I also wanted to highlight a free event from Statescoop on November 12 on IT modernization and AI Summit. It will be virtual and it's free, in case you're interested, the link is here.
Finally, it's Cybersecurity Awareness Month, hooray! Here's a resource from our friends at CISA: Cybersecurity Awareness Month | CISA
I can upload that to our resource library. Are there other tools we should be sharing with each other right now? Hope you all are having a great week and look forward to seeing you at the end of the month!
Sincerely,
