  • 1.  Social determinants of health: Tackle disparities from the pharmacy

    During the COVID-19 pandemic, pharmacies have been cultivating new strategies to ensure patients' access to their medications. Pharmacies have begun integrating the social determinants of health by providing referrals to social services, triaging proper medication prescriptions, expanding personal patient outreach, and providing home and curbside services.
