Dr. Leanne Field will be joining us to share preliminary results from the Health Sector Coordinating Council (HSCC) Working Group survey in her talk:
"Recommendations to Improve the Cyber Preparedness and Response for Local Health."
🔹 About Dr. Field:
Leanne H. Field, Ph.D., M.S., is a Clinical Professor and Founding Director of the Public Health Program at The University of Texas at Austin, and an Adjunct Professor of Public Health at UT Health School of Public Health.
She brings deep expertise in:
Dr. Field has launched multiple educational programs, including the new Leadership in Healthcare Cyber Risk Management program, which she currently directs.
She has been an active member of the HSCC Cybersecurity Working Group for eight years and currently serves as:

Chair of the Public Health Subsector on the Executive Committee

Co-Chair of the Healthcare and Public Health Joint Cybersecurity Working Group, focused on strengthening SLTT (state, local, tribal, territorial) public health cyber preparedness.
