NACCHO is hosting a two-day in-person workshop on May 14 and 15, 2025, in Atlanta, GA, for local health departments (LHDs) to share innovative strategies for enhancing surveillance and informatics within public health agencies. Developed in collaboration with the CDC's Office of Public Health Data, Surveillance, and Technology (OPHDST), the workshop will focus on improving data collection, analysis, and utilization to strengthen public health responses. Key topics include strategic planning for informatics, data modernization, and technology solutions for LHDs. The event will feature presentations, best practices, roundtable discussions, listening sessions, practical tools, case studies, and collaborative discussions to help local agencies enhance their informatics capabilities.
NACCHO will cover the cost of your travel to the convening, including airfare, hotel, per diem, and ground transportation to/from the airport.
