Hi everyone! There's a new article in StateScoop today called, "
Monkeypox outbreaks taxing tech-deficient local health authorities, officials say." In the article, Elizabeth Perez at Washington Department of Health was discussing how local health tech is getting strained under the pressure of the outbreaks.
I wanted to know your thoughts:
How are things at your local health departments? Are there any lessons or best practices we can highlight in our next meeting? Any painpoints to discuss? As always, you can reply to the discussion post email,
login to Virtual Communities, or
email me / the
LHIT group directly.
I'm organizing our next meeting for end-of-September / beginning-of-October. Just finalizing the details now to get it to you all this week. Let me know how we can best connect you to help and make the best use of your time. Thanks for all you do and look forward to hearing from you.
