Hi everyone!
I am interested in conducting evaluation of our HAI programmatic activities to see what impact we are making in improving infection prevention and control capacities within our LTCFs. Currently, we are interested in conducting a pre/post assessment for educational outreach sessions by IPC topic (e.g. EVS, Hand hygiene, TBP, C.auris/EBP, etc.) among facility staff. I was wondering if anyone had done such an evaluation and would be willing to share their experiences and assessment tools to help us get started. Eventually, we would like to pursue further evaluation of our outbreak response capabilities, ICARs, and overall program performance. Program evaluation is certainly an area of great training need for many local health departments and technical assistance is needed to ensure evaluation methodologies are scientifically sound before starting.
