Sustaining Together: Relationship Building for Health Equity Longevity
Addressing the root causes of health inequities requires a commitment to collaboration and adequate strategies to sustain the work. Moderated by Dr. Hassanatu Blake, NACCHO's Director of Health Equity and Social Justice, the Health Equity Town Hall included different voices in various sectors speaking on how we can work together to push for sustainable, effective tools and approaches to continue to advance health equity for all of us.

Objectives
Discuss the importance of relationship-building across public health organizations, including but not limited to state, local, tribal and territorial/island health departments as well as public-private partnerships
Provide tools and/or strategies to help attendees act more directly on the root causes of health inequities in their jurisdictions
Offer a variety of perspectives and experiences speaking to sustainability of health equity efforts beyond COVID-19 emergency response
Announce 2103 local-state-tribal-territorial/island relationship symposium in Spring 2024
