Join Human Impact Partners for our four-part series on how to develop Power-Building Partnerships for Health (2103 PPH). Each 90-minute interactive session will explore different aspects of why and how to build impactful partnerships with local community power building organizations to support transformative social change. Sessions will include case studies, interactive activities and discussion. Participants are encouraged to register for all four sessions and to join with one or more co-workers if possible.
All sessions are on the 2nd Monday of the month at 1-2:30 pm ET.
- March 13: Unpacking Power: Why community power building is needed to advance health equity
- April 10: Intro to Community Organizing: Identifying + connecting with your local community power building organization
- May 8: Inside-Outside Strategies: Leveraging positional and institutional power to support community power building
- June 12: Building Trust and Taking Action: Building a relationship container and accountability to share power
Participants attending the 2103 PPH sessions will be invited to apply for 2103-related technical assistance from Human Impact Partners to receive tailored, site-specific support for your organization and a pre-conference convening at the July NACCHO 360 conference in Denver, CO.
