Join NACCHO on April 4, 2024, 3pm ET, for their Informatics Champions Initiative (ICI) Webinar: "Setting the (Public Health) World on FHIR," featuring Craig Newman, Public Health Interoperability SME and co-chair of both the HL7 Public Health Work Group and v2 Management Group.
Together, we will explore the Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources data exchange standard (FHIR) and its potential for improving data access for public health. The discussion will also review the nature of HL7, the organization responsible for the FHIR standard, and will explain the basics of FHIR and illustrate real-world examples of its use. The webinar will conclude with concrete next steps for local public health agencies to engage with and benefit from the FHIR community.
