Hello everyone,
I am Harumi Reilly, lead analyst on the MCAH team at NACCHO. I am SO excited that we now have a virtual community to continue conversations about infant and toddler feeding, and everything else that goes with early childhood nutrition!
We had our first regional convening in Denver on August, which was beyond amazing!! So much energy, sharing and learning from each other. Our team is getting ready to convene in Boston in September, and then Raleigh in October.
There is SO much momentum happening on nutrition security for all age groups focused on historically neglected communities in the United States. We are hoping to inform national conversations by amplifying your work, your collective wisdom shared with us, and anything else we can help amplify.
I've added some pictures of the first convening (please let me know if you see yourself in one but are not comfortable in sharing, I will respectfully delete it). I also added some resources that were available in the convening, and also the newly published report on Recommendations for the White House Hunger and Nutrition conference, on September 28th. By the way, let us know if you plan to come to Washington DC then, or at any other time. We would love to connect with you again- or for others who may join this community- connect with you for the first time!
Please reintroduce yourself, upload your resources and any other materials you referenced to during our convening. This is the space to showcase your work, and also for peer-to-peer learning, so if you come across anything interesting, please share. I will also be uploading funding opportunities that could be of your interest.
Warmly,
Harumi
