ChemPrep Connect is a dedicated virtual community designed to empower local health departments (LHDs) in preparing for and responding to chemical incidents. Chemical emergencies are rare but can have devastating effects, requiring immediate, coordinated action to protect public health. ChemPrep Connect offers LHD representatives a central hub to access a curated collection of evidence-based resources, tools, and guidance specifically for chemical preparedness.

    Are you and your team interested in participating in a Chemical Preparedness Workshop this Spring? The workshop will be available for both in-person and virtual formats (if selected, NACCHO will travel to your location). No prior experience in chemical response is required – this training is designed for all levels of expertise. 

    The workshop will be a one-day session focused on enhancing chemical preparedness. In addition to providing valuable training, we are seeking feedback to help improve our workshop and handbook, ensuring they are tailored to the unique needs of rural health departments.
