COVID-19 Health Equity Grant (OT2103) Recipients

Hi All - our team at Health Resources in Action is supporting a fellow OT2103 grantee in finding best practices related to mobile units (e.g., RVs, vans, buses) as part of a COVID response. Their goal is to find information to help clarify the goals of these mobile units and figure out which activities they should be prioritizing, with an emphasis on those activities that can be evaluated, are sustainable, and set them up to be nimble to respond to emerging needs.

Their immediate need is for written ideas from other grantees' workplans (activities, outputs, outcomes, logic models) for standing up mobile units.

Hi Katie! We've chosen not to pursue mobile units as part of OT21-2103 due to the difficulty in disposition of the resource after the end of the grant term so I can't help you with any information from a work plan. In a previous role, I was responsible for launching the renovation and implementation of a Mobile Success Unit - a 39 foot RV which we turned into a Mobile Job Development resource to bring job search tools to "employment deserts" within Maricopa County in Arizona.
