Welcome to NACCHO's Informatics Champions Community Space!
NACCHO's Informatics Champions is a community for local public health department members interested in learning about Public Health Informatics and sharing ideas and best practices with peers. In today's digital age, public health informatics plays a pivotal role in decision-making, policy formulation, and effective health interventions. NACCHO has relaunched its Informatics Champions Initiative (ICI) to support local health departments' informatics capabilities and knowledge. Members will have the opportunity to gain insight and timely updates on public health informatics-related initiatives, such as Data Modernization and the Technical Exchange Framework and Common Agreement (TEFCA). Additionally, members will be able to provide local health perspectives to conversations and give insight on how NACCHO can support LHDs.
NACCHO's goal is to create a space for local health department members to get updates on federal initiatives, ask questions, exchange ideas & best practices, and network with peers. As such, the cadence and structure of calls are subject to change based on input from participants in the future.
Sincerely,
NACCHO Informatics Team
