2023 Data Modernization Initiative (DMI) Learning Community call: Inclusion of local health department perspectives in DMI decision-making
When: December 21, 2023, 3-4 PM ET
During December's call, the learning community will welcome representatives from two states to discuss how they are incorporating perspectives from local health departments.
- Emma Spencer and Aaron Otis from the Florida Department of Health will present how they are working together across state and local jurisdictions to further data modernization initiatives.
- Marcia Pearlowitz and Jessica Acharya from the Maryland Department of Health will share how they have structured their DMI Steering Committee to include state and local representatives across the public health programs.
The call will have time for questions and discussion to allow other STLTs to contribute ideas or approaches on this topic.
