Looking for ways to take climate action and make structural change in your community? Apply now to the Climate Health Organizing Fellows Program. Participants in this FREE 6-month program will further their knowledge of the health equity implications of climate change and develop community organizing skills to create lasting change. The program, run by Gaurab Basu and Pedja Stojicic and based on the organizing strategies developed by Marshall Ganz, includes monthly Zoom courses, coaching sessions, and three weekend immersions. It is free and open to U.S.-based healthcare providers, community workers, environmental justice advocates, and others who work in health or climate equity spaces.
Applications will be accepted until October 22.
Format: 6 month Zoom course that will consist of monthly 2 hour course sessions, monthly coaching support sessions, and 3 weekend immersion (4 hours on Saturday & Sunday) sessions.
