Adam is currently a Program Coordinator at Columbus Public Health in Columbus, Ohio. Adam is a Registered Sanitarian in the state of Ohio, a Registered Environmental Health Specialist with the National Environmental Health Association, and a National Swimming Pool Foundation Certified Instructor. He holds Bachelor Degrees in Environmental Health and Industrial Hygiene, along with an Associate Degree in Environmental Engineering Technology from Ohio University. In addition to working as a health official, he has had extensive experience working for a pool company maintaining and building swimming pools. He has many years of experience with all environmental health programs but has been requested to speak and train professionals with his expertise in recreational water many times. In addition to the award winning recreational water program, Adam coordinates the Water and Land Protection Program of the Environmental Health Division in Columbus which handles sewage treatment systems, private water, solid waste, body art, campgrounds, institutions, and various other programs. Additionally, he is a part of Columbus Public Health’s On-Call Emergency Response Team.
